I pulled the trigger and ordered a bluetooth helmet. I tried on and tested the Oneal Tirade Blinc 3 Bluetooth helmet at Cycle Gear. I think it will work great. Not enough bass, but that can be fixed with good replacement speakers in the future. I ordered a Medium size for approximately $184 shipped from ebay. ($100 cheaper than Cycle Gear) It fit comfortably, and it is a fiberglass helmet. Does not feel heavy. Oneal actually uses a Seven Zero Seven helmet and upgrades it with a bluetooth/stereo with FM Receiver. Paired easily with my Droid Razr. I will be reviewing it in detail next week after I receive it on Wednesday. I am currently commuting 120 miles a day, and will be able to test it thoroughly.

 

good deal man ive been wondering about helmets for a while. ive see some go for $700 and others go for $70 i would be good to kno what the difference is in quality.

 

I've got the next version of this helmet but it doesn't have FM Radio. I love it. I did have an issue with the original battery not really holding a charge. O'Neal sent me out a replacement for free and it took care of it. I'm okay with not a lot of bass booming through so it keeps things a little clearer to hear. You can easily hear music at 70mph
