Default Best/Cheapest gear for a newbie

I just got my 96cbr and was wondering what a good value jacket to get is? I have an hjc helmet and that is it. I don't need race gear just something incase someone runs me off the road or hits me.

You can grab a AGV Airtex Textile Mesh Jacket for around a $100.00
Get what you can afford , just remember you can never have to much gear.
You may want to get some gloves while your at it , it's just a natural response to put your hands up to protect yourself in a wreck.
Call Brad at SuperBike Supply or see if there is a CycleGear in your area.
