I didn't see the option to where you could have them paint it for you. Crap I shoulda done that instead. Just picked up my painted fairing $115 later.

oh, i thought you mean they had single fairings painted. yeah if i had the $529 to get a new set, I sure would. Although, on a cheaper note, I wouldn't mind just having my fairings that I have now, repainted the way they are now. It would be a shame to just buy a kit that you know someone has somewhere, compared to a paint scheme that it is more or less rare.

It would cost more than $529 to paint your bike. Better get the fairings??

It would cost more money to remove the fairings that I have and have them painted again? That seems hard to believe. I suppose it would depend on the painter.

This is about right for a good paint job and the shop doing the prep work. If you prep and spray yourself -- NOT RECOMMENDED -- you could probably come out around $275 and that's using a cheap clear coat.

I painted my cruiser and it ran over $200 and i used the cheapest clear and activator they had.

Besides you could always sale you current fairings when you get your new ones in....that's what i plan on doing. At-least I'll make a little back on the new set.

It cost me $300 just for the paint and supplies. Then paid my painter $500. And I took off my own fairings and prepped them. Painted fairings are a way cheaper route to go.

Yeah only if you want those paint schemes. I want the ones on my bike redone. It's not a kit you can find on the market (that I know of). I don't want any of the labels or sponsor stuff.

Hey thats cool with me if thats what you want. I was just pointing out what its going to cost you to paint vs. buying fairings.
