Default Delkevic's anyone????

Hi all,

Im new to this thread and am damn glad I found it, it has saved me asking many stupid questions at my local bike shop!!
My question is -has anybody fitted Delkevic silencers to their bike?? I have ordered a pair but when received they had included the wrong link pipes. I am expecting the correct link pipe this week and should be on the road be next weekend (fingers crossed). I cant complain about the quality of the silencers they look first class, particularly for the price. Any comments from anybody who has installed them would be appreciated.
Cheers

All installed. Pretty good fit for a twin system. Due to some delays from Delkevic (the link pipes were incorrectly shaped) they upgraded me to Titanium for no additional cost!! Bike now runs very smooth with no flat spot and good power through the rev range. Baffles still in at this stage.

Thanks for the welcome guys. As for the sound, there is a clip on Youtube with a set of SS delkevics on a Blackbird - similar sound. If anyone is interested, I bought them through Slickbiker and their list price is lower than buying them through Delkevic!! Go figure!!!

BTW what is the easiest way to secure the lower fairing when removing the originalexhaust covers???? It seems loose enough now to flap in the breeze???

I did not try to reattach the lower fairings after removing the stock exhaust and have had no problems. I just put the bolts back in the holes to fill in the void, but they don't actually bolt to anything.
