I bought a 300 off of facebook market place and waited a while until I finally had a chance to ride it. I noticed the engine sounded funky with a slight knocking sound and it only got worse. This is my first motorycle. I asked the guy about the sound and he conviced me it was just the sound of a regular 300. After a couple days I asked the guy I bought it off of and he said it just needed an oil change. Got the oil changed and it had the same problem. As I changed the oil I noticed some fine metal pieces in the oil. I couldn't figure it out and brought it to get serviced only to find out the engine was blown. So now I am in need of a engine. The guy totally scammed me and moved far away shortly after. Learning lesson. I only rode it around my driveway twice as I knew it was making a strange sound and I didn't want to mess it up anymore than it was. The battery went dead as the engine must have closed everything. The bike only had a little under 4,000 miles. LMK IF YOU HAVE AN ENGINE TO SELL. It would be greatly appreciated.
