CBR 125 Mirrors don't fit properly ?!

CBR 125 Mirrors don't fit properly ?!
I had a little 'incident' the other day which resulted in me needing new mirrors, i have recieved the replacements however when i tried puting the nuts from the old mirror onto the new one they were too small although they are exactly the same mirror and the thread on the mirror is also too wide to screw the mirror onto the bike, even the item number is the same on both mirrors. does any one know if this is a factory error or something else ?

they might have changed the size since the 2006 modle. possably the 2007-09 one is different.

Quite often part numbers are superseded when new models come along , but the parts may be very nearly the same ... you prolly recieved the superseded (newer)parts and not the original for your model...
As Denny said ...take it up with your dealer or whom ever you ordered them from ..
