Went for a ride tonite because it seemed nice. I geared up to hell and back. The temperature when I left home at 800pm was 41 according to weather.com when I got home at 1000pm it said 39. I thought I would weigh myself when I got home out of curiousity. I weighed 168lbs with gear. The items I removed included. 1. Fulmer S7 helmet 2. Fox racing beanie 3. Cabelas tube socks ultra thick 4. Steve and Barrys jeans 5. Carhart overalls insulated 6. Joe Rocket blaster 2 leather jacket with liner 7. Adidas hoodie 8. Under armour long sleeve shirt 9. Pair of fleece lined leather gloves 10. Pair of Poulan Pro steel toe leather boots. After removing all this I weighed a whopping 145 lbs. 23lbs worth of gear holy s*it. With all this stuff on I was suprisingly comfortable and warm. The only problem I had was shifting occasionally because I couldn't feel the shifter with my toes cause of the boots. I don't remember who said it but it fits well Put your feet on the pegs were they belong.

 

I'd wear all my gear even if it weighed 50 pounds. Better safe than sorry always wear your gear. But im suprised with 23 pounds im going to have to do that after a ride see whats my total.
