This thread is so jacked, I don't even know where to being. [ul][*] I almost get run over daily.[/ul] [ul][*] I don't even get mad anymore because I'm used to it.[*] I've made mistakes in cars, and felt horrible about it.[*] People who almost kill you do so unwillingly, I assure you they are not trying to kill you on purpose; unless you get off your bike and start yelling at them or kick their vehicle.[*] Being that we both have similar time frames of riding (myself getting close to 3 years). I can say you are a new rider. I am still a new rider. I have learn invaluable information over the last few years, and one of them was to get over the fact that cars almost hit you. They do it while I'm in my car too, whoop-d-doo...you're now a motorist.[*] The proper contraction for 'I am' is 'I'm', not 'um'[/ul]
To add a story, I have been tail gated, almost skidded into, almost run over at a red light, run off the road, brake checked, and had cars pull out in front of me and STOP. I've never been messed with and I normally shake my head and at most give the Robert DeNiro 'I'm watching you' gesture, telling people to watch out. However, I have seen a trucker get out of his rig and get into a boxing match with a guy who cut him off. Today, I think they are both idiots and if my grandfather wasn't a trucker, would think they are all ignorant fools.

Use your head to stay alive, using your feet and fists is only going to put you in extra unnecessary danger.

i understand people makes mistakes n this world of people that have vehicle only tunnel vision. I treat everyone as a moron and i always have an exscape route plan. I just try to be the leader not the follower. I just think some people should take there drivers liscense over again cause they are neglegent to other vehicles in general.Add to the list of stuff i have bin push in the middle of a 4lane bridge on the yellow line in between heavy traffic. After the guy notices um right next to his window he flinches. I give him the hand gun signal and shoot em. I have bin forced into the gravel on the expressway. The list never ends. Sometimes i guess its just the thrill of being invisible is one of the reasons riding is fun. I feel like um a terminator so to speak. Scanning the areas vehicles and speeds just to stay alive. Of course speed and all the other good stuff. Just seems like no matter were u go there will always people daydreaming and putting peoples lives in risk everyday.
