My bro just used a hiflo oil filter in his bike. I believe he got it here: Hiflo Filtro

I believe my honda shop uses wix filters and the honda gnp 4 oil. I havnt had a problem with it. The main thing to look for is the make sure there isnt any energy conservatives or anything added too it. Your best off going with an oil that is designed for 4 stroke motorcycles w/ a wet clutch, otherwise youll prolly end up with some clutch slippage. Everyone has their own oil that they swear by, but they are all pretty equal in my eye. You cant go wrong putting honda oil in it, but the others will prolly be just as good if not better. Hopefully someone else can give you a better idea on which oils perform the best

take care, good luck

Chris

so i go down to the bike place to grab some, what i expected to be honda, oil and a filter for the bike.
A. not wearing a helmet, left it in roommate's car and he works all day
B. 1/2 way there i forgot the bookbag
C. I leave there with double bagged gallon of oil and filter with no ideas how i am going to carry it home

Well it wasnt a bad ride carrying a bag...i've carried a 12pack of coronas on the 500ninja before. As i was about 1 block from home i pass a bike, and regardless street or cruiser i always!!!!!!!! show respect adn put my hand/arm out to wave to them. He, not wearing a helmet but FULL LEATHERS/Gloves/boots (helmet attached to back of his bike) taps his head. Is this the new trend for helmetless riders??

Story continues..............I get home and decided to look at what i bought (no i didnt look at the brand, i expected honda since he asked what i had).

KawaChem
genuine kawasaki chemicals and lubricants
4cycle premium engine oil for use in 4cycle motorcycle engines
sae 20w-50

Ok now for the dumb question....being that it says "FOR USE IN 4-CYCLE MOTORCYCLE ENGINES" I'm not going to run into any problems, right????

nothing to do with oil but tapping your head is usually used by bikers to signal that there is a police officer ahead.
