A Formula 1 car will run rings around any bike.

But if you are just talking everyday cars with everyday drivers, I think the bike wins.

a bike vs a comparable car, car will win everytime simply because a car has more rubber on the road. This has been proven over n over again.

Nice video , but lets face it , the Nissan 300ZX was a complete POS and cornered like a bus . That's the problem with all these comparisons , they're all skewed one way or the other.

The only totally unbiased comparison can be with Formula 1 and Moto GP

Agreed. In a closed circuit, the car will always win. Unless you're comparing say, a Prius to a 1000RR. But in real life everyday conditions, on the street, nothing is faster than a sportbike, except radios & helicopters.

There was a special on the speed channel, called "Car vs. Bike", and it had a ducati 1098 and I believe a Nissan GTR. They followed eachother on the race track and compared lap times as well. The bike out accelerated the car and took turns about the same. The major factor was braking. A car can stop much faster than a bike, and when the bike was behind the car on the track it would almost run into it entering a turn.
