Default 600rr handles weird

I recently bought a 2005 600 rr. It is the second one I bought this fall. One is for me and one is for my son,we use them on trackdays. The one I bought first handles like a dream. It is completely stock and has not been crashed. The second Bike handles weird. It feels like it has to be forced into the turn, not smooth, almost feels like I should be turning the handlebars toward the turn. It was a one owner and never crashed. Both bikes have Michelin Pilot Power tires in good condition. The only difference I can see is the way the suspension is set. Any thoughts on this? thanks.

Is everything lined up properly? Do a search on "the string method" for
aligning the wheels.

Check the steering head bearings. Also check the steering head torque.

Are the tripples lined up properly?

Has the bike been lowered or rake/trail been changed from stock?

Most instabilities come from the points I've mentioned.

Hope this helps, Ern

How old/worn are the tires, and what kind are they? The shape of the tire will vary by manufacturer, as well as wear. Make sure they are the correct sizes for the bike too.

Otherwise, something in the bike's geometry is not right.

Thanks for the response All of these things will be checked. Front tire is worn but not excessively. I took it down to SLC yesterday to store for the winter so it will be awhile. It has a steering stabilizer and as I increased the dampening it improved but still not as stable as the other bike that has no stabilizer.I did the string method on the other bike and also had the suspension professionally set up for my weight. I never checked the triple tree alignment on a bike where the stancions are at the bottom of the forks, how would I do this? The nut on the triple tree was removed for to install the stabilizer so something could have fallen out of alignment/adjustment when that was done.I would say it feels like oversteer in a car.
