Aww man Jared sorry to hear that, that ain't right .. right after you had everything fixed up and repainted too. 
To be honest with you, in all my many years/miles of riding I haven't paid as much attention to what's on the road as what the crazy cagers around me are doing, but your story reminds me I gotta pay more attention to what's on the road as well as what's coming up ... I need 10 eyes lol
As much riding in the heat as you do, have you tried any of those gadgets for keeping you cool and hydrated? e.g. those neck cooling things, camelback hydration stuff, etc..?

damn Jared, no good! as someone mentioned earlier.......its amazing you made it 93K miles w/o one single wreck....look at it that way. thats pretty damn good i'd say! well, glad to hear you are ok and that the bike held up....eh, alright. time to put in some OT at work to pay for all the parts, huh!

But I got all the new parts coming... hopefully they'll be here this week sometime! Finally got FRAME SLIDERS too!! Everybodys been giving me **** about that forever... I've been lazy though. Also got a new pair of 4300K HID's as well! 
Now I just gotta get my buddy to repaint the tail and front upper and she'll be looking new again

glad yur okay, and the bike is not too bad off either, man i came around a bend once on a freeway and there was a matress in the lane, i missed it by two feet ( i would have moved over more, but there was traffic in the other lane... and i was moving pretty good, if i wasnt paying attention i would have eatin **** sooo bad, ever since that day i really REALLLy pay attetion it was a big wake up call
