I guess she's mad at me...
It seems the Hurricane is a bit grumpy... I think she's just mad I haven't spent any money on her recently.
Just went out for about 75 miles today and noticed one oddity (A) on the run and one (B) when I got home:
A) My Tach is registering about 3-5k higher than actual. At idle I can clearly hear that it's in the normal 1-1.8k range, but it reads over 4. On the highway, 65-70mph usually that sweet spot that's right around 5-6k rpm (I can feel/hear that nice little resonant frequency it's always had in that range) it reads over 10. I've wiggled cables as much as I can... to no avail. Thoughts/Suggestions?
B) Somewhere along the ride my rear brake has decided to close up (gently though) and drag it's pads, throwing a ****ton of brake dust. Bitch.

try contact cleaner in all the connections to the tach. I am betting that if it has been a while a little corrosion got in there and is messing it up on you. if that works you will feel great, such a nice and easy fix with electrical
Check that the pads move on the pins, check the pistons that they move freely, change the brake fluid and lastly replace the brake line (that last one is what turned out to be the problem with my rear brakes dragging).
