Default Wanna buy a vacuum cleaner?

I was at the mall a couple of weeks ago with my daughter, and she spottedone of those drawings where you fill out a form, and drop it in a box. It was right next to a brand new evo, and I believe the box said something about winning a new car or $25,000. My daughter was excited about the potential of us winning a new car, so I figured there was no harm. I enter in two or three of these a year, so I entered.

We got a call last night at about 8:15, and my wife was told that we won a $200 prize package, we just need to see "something" and the lady could come over in just a few minutes to show us. This "something" was unclear. My wife and I were trying to get the kids ready for bed, and there was a lot of craziness, and the lady was apparently being a bit vague. In my starry-eyed hope that we were actually winning something, I told my wife that we could check it out.

Long story short, she comes over and gives us a two hour long vacuum cleaner demo for this stupid "tristar" cyclonic thing. It seemed to work great, and the lady was very nice, and kept acting like it was almost over. She was there from about 9:00 to a little after 11:00!It was a huge waste of time, andat the end, I said no, and we got some $200 voucher for a hotel stay. What a retarded way to sell a product. I felt bad for her. Oh well. LOL-here's the website for the vacuum. It looks like it hasn't been updated in ten years: http://www.tristarclean.com/tristar/

/\/\ LOL, and mom said to stop sticking your d1ck in the vacuum.

I've been to several places that were offering jobs, they were sales jobs like that going house to house. Sometimes they get paid per visit, or just on commissions. When they do get paid, they get paid. Don't feel bad, they get turned down all the time.
