Default Truck Project...

Well, I worked on my truck this weekend and thought I'd share. I tinted the windows and, put some "lights" on it, haha. ITs fun to freak people out that u know. Took me forever to wire it though. Just a fun toy. The fiancee hates um tho....

Looks like fun, as long as you know where you're doing it til all good.

So what kind of strobes did you get, and how did you install them?

Just got some Optx ones from Advanced. The ones in the headlights are headlight strobes and just drilled holes in the housing and put them in then then others are just flash strobes I mounted to my grill. Wired all them together, put in a few resisitors, put it in a fuse in the box, and then to my switch(remote swtice as well)

oooo. how illegal. there has been such a problem with impersonating LEOs around where i live that I wouldn't be surprised if they arrested someone for just installing a system like that.

I used to have some stuff like that in my VW, had some fun with one of my friends once, it was pricesless. especially because he hve a couple UC cars around where i am from.

ona side note, as someone continually learning about the install process, can i ask what the resistors are for??
