this is such a bad idea... sure it sounds great, but you know you're destroying your engine by doing so since it rely's on back-pressure.

i ran mine with just a chrome tip on it for 6 months, fouled up my spark plugs and drew way too much cop attention. now i have a d and d slip on and love it, i can hear my self think while riding again

I think as long as the headers are on the valves are safe, maybe you have to worry about a overly lean condition (+1 FLYOU) and a loss of power though.
