Default Tire Sizes?

Can someone tell me how big of a difference a 120/60 compared to a 120/70 would be?
I messed up and ordered a 120/60. I then went to cancell the order but realized they don't have a 120/70 in stock, of course. So if it wont affect the handling too much I'll just go with it.

Thanks Guys

Wow...nothing???

No one knows how much the turn-in would be effected?
I guess my biggest concern is that the rear wheel will have a slightly taller profile than the front, I think, but don't know if it will be noticable.
Any comments?

I had an R6 that had a stock 120/60 series tire and put on a 120/70 tire and didnt notice any differences. Of course, I only rode the bike about 300 miles before my wife inherited it. I never pushed it with the tires, so I dont know what the difference would be there.

I think the biggest difference your going to see is the front suspension now having more weight on it due to the lower front tires profile. Wether or not that will make a difference, I really don't know. but in a few articles, they suggest raising your front forks to compesate when making a swap like this. Of course, these are track riders, and on th street, it may not matter at all.

Not really what you mean, as the rear already has a taller profile than the front tire. I think the biggest difference is going to be the tire will have a slightly flatter profile, and may not tip in as easy. but if the tires are matched, it should still work ok. Of course, the 120/60 tire was only used in combination with a 180, not a 190 rear from factory bikes. So Im not really sure how a 190 will work with a 60 front if your running a 190. If your running a 180, you'll probably be just fine.

I know... not much help huh? Im not sure what I would do. I would probably sell it and buy a 120/70... but thats just me. it may be just fine.

No you helped, I appreciate that! Didn't really consider the suspension, that does make sense though, it would tip the bike forward a little more. I guess I'm going to try them since they are on their way here and I am in desperate need of tires. I'm not down to cords or anything, but she handles all F'd up now, the front tire is worn down pretty good on the right side thanks to the clover leaf, which is all right hand ramps, and the rear finally developed it's flat spot enough to notice the handling has gone on it. Not bad though...7200 miles out of this first set.

But no I do appreciate the input Squid, thanks!
