fellow riders...

i ride a 1998 600cc f3, and i was wondering about tires. I have the oppertunity to score some pretty cheap mint condition tires off an 2006 600cc RR, would the 120/70 zr17 and 180/55 zr 17 tires fit on my bike even tho the tires on there read as 120/60 zr 17 and 160/60 zr 17??? thanx for the help!!

 

the 120/70 will fit but you'll have to raise the front fender up a few millimeters and the rear of the fender will rub the tire. The 180 will fit but the bike will handle like sh*t and the tire will be pinched so it won't work properly. On my F3 I used the 120/70 front and a 160 rear. Handled like a dream and the tires fit the bike properly.

 

so dont even bother i guess eh!! thats too bad...they were cheap...anywayz thanks alot!!
