Congrats!!! Like many have said, I'm proud to be a part of this forum and I'm glad I was given an opportunity to help out!

 

Congrats Orange and Im sad to say that I am too late to help you out cuz I havent been on in a few days. But to all the members here, new and old, congrats to all of you, pat yourselves on the back, give yourselves a round of applause or something because this is by far the most amazing thing I have ever seen. You have shown that riding is more than just a hobby, more than just a good time, you showed that this forum is real, is true. You bonded together regardless of differences of opinions on anything what so ever to help out one person that most of us have never met and most likely will never meet because on here, on a bike, he is more than a person, he is more than a long time rider, he is a brother. Combined you guys helped to keep his love and continue not only his days of riding but help get a little piece of his life back in order after a hard time that could very easily happen to any one of us. Congratulations CBRForum, I am proud, no, honored to be a member of such a real thing.

yea this is crazy. with the way the world is most people wont even talk to a person they dont actually know, let alone give money to them.
i knew i liked this forum (back in may) before i even had a bike thats why i checked it almost everyday so iw as on here like 7 months before i even got a bike. its just really cool to see that some people still care about people.
congrats blindin, i know you're more grateful than any of us are, but in helping you out, weve helped ourselves out and like every one else has said, grown closer together.

Like a proud father I am so very proud of all of you! It's nice to have a cause in a time when so much in the world is sucking! It is a true testiment to the heart within the human soul. We all posses this heart and the ability to use it, it is just such a beautiful thing when so many choose to do so at the same time! We are so much more than a club, or group, we are a family! Not only the Honda riders but those who ride a bike. When you sit back and look, you have helped someone that most of you will never know in person. From multiple countries, and multiple states. This is someone that if you past walking down the road would you really truely know you just past him? I would feel safe to say no. And yet you pulled together and provided hope and help for this man. Someone who has been a member of our little site for years! I remember when I first met him way back when. Always a nice guy. Great to talk to. And a true lover of his bike. A noble cause everyone. Thanks for stepping up to help. And all due to an off the cuff comment. You all rock! If you are ever in my neck of the woods you all have a place to stay! I just like the people involved here and would love to hang wioth each and every one of you!

Wow, I wish I would have seen this thread sooner. I just bought a bike and am a new rider so to see how people in your community could chip in and help a fellow member out is awesome. I am on another forum and something like this would never happen. I am happy to be apart of this forum and am glad you were able to keep your bike.
