not to sound like an echo....but sometimes, it's not about results....it just about feeling good about yourself and humanity for doing something that is selfless....

to tell you the truth, after i heard he got his back bike....as far as i was concerned...that was the end of it

i am just truly happy to see such a huge online family come together so quickly to help one of our own....that's worth more than any bike will ever be....

+1 To that. I'm not always huge into sentimental stuff... I just tend to fair poorly in the situation, however, I was happy to help out with the money I sent. Would I like to hear from him again? Very much so... but for all the reasons I like hearing from other kind members on this site. I just stay happy with my choice and don't worry about it.

BlindinOrange... we'd love to have you drop by just to say "hi"... just like everybody else.

This is my first post on this forum. Someone posted a link to this thread on www.mpforum.com.au

All I can way is that what you have all done to help a fellow rider is nothing short of inspirational. I have never, EVER, seen anything like this anywhere. It's things like this that lets people see that there are some great people left in this world.

Once again people, bloody awesome!!!

its like giving the homeless guy $10..

you hope he spends it on food and a shave, but you have that gut feeling it went to alot of cheap booze.

Still makes ya feel good though.. either way he was helped..

Theres a large differance between $10 and $100 that several members gave.Who knows, who cares at this point. IMO If he was that thankful he'd stop in. Maybe he bought tons of lottery tickets and won a few mil. and itll all come back. He obviously needed the money in some aspect of his life though, so everyone can rest asure it wasnt "wasted".

it does surprise me he doesnt still post here.
he had 500 post before, and was just like any of us.
i know i get on here everyday and if i was gonna lose my bike and everyone chipped in to help out and i got to keep it, i would keep getting on this site like i do now. it kinda makes me think he may not have the bike anymore b/c i know the only way i would ever stop coming on here is if i didnt havea bike, and even then i would probably still get on here... so almost losing ur bike, then keeping it b/c ppl on this forum doesnt really seem like i would be followed by leaving hte forum, especially since hes posted over 500 since hes been here.

im happy we all helped out and supported a fellow member, and it does feel good, i just dont understand why, now, of all times, would be when he stopped getting on here. he could just be extrememly busy, but u think he would be just as active now as he was before... unless maybe his internet got shut off or something.?

Honestly, I hopehe's ok. Sometimes it seems like people just fall off the face of the earth (online, at least). That'sjust oneweird thing about this kind of human interaction. There are definitely some others. I feel like I'm a part of a family here, and unfortunately, I just don't have a group like this in "real" life. Kinda sucks.
