Wow, this is pretty amazing.....
Onanother forumI once posted about a fellow rider who busted up his hand while riding his dirtbike and had to have surgery.....he didnt have insurance and couldnt work, so no way to pay for bills....I offered up the forum to try and help out a fellow biker....he didnt know anything about it btw....and all I got donated was about ten bucks....
Oh well, he was still moved by the gesture and I was a little dissapointed with the member base but, no one is required to do anything so that is why this is pretty amazing to see here.
Congrats.

I don't know you but what the other members are doing here is amazing. I can't imagine what it would feel like for someone to take away one of the few things that gives me joy. I'm in a finacial rut right now....but I sent the small amount I can, If its not too late next week I get payed and I will gladely send more. Best of luck man.

New here. Don't even own a CBR (YET---but the new 600RR is making me droooool). Saw this posted on Sportbikegurls.com and I have to say, it made me so proud to be part of the sportbike community. I have a 2002 SV650 and live in Rochester, NY. My name is Iris.
My theory has always been this...
In most aspects of adult life, the friends you make are usally through work (bitching about your boss) through schoool (bitching about your classes) through kids (bitchin about their school)...but all bonds by common annoyances. In the sportbike world, we are bound by a common LOVE, and that leads to whole different level of commitment to the group. Not to mention that we have a higher risk of losing one of our own any day and we trust each other with our lives every time we ride together.
Money sent.

Brother this one is all about you, but if I have had any kind of positive impact on you. It is just a plus. And as always, if I can help you in anyway just let me know.
You guys don't know how proud I was last night when I saw for myself that we had all pull together to make this happen I would personally like to thank the administrators and moderators of this forum for allowing this thread to continue I know from being a former super moderator. Some forums would have deleted this or just let it die a natural death with no support so thanks guys. And of course to everybody else, Thank You for responding and helping.
