Yeah blindin, sorry for the short response before, had to hurry up and send...didn't know you were close or not! I have met a lot of awesome people on this forum and I feel like this is my extended family (even you guys in the other non-f4i sections
)....everyone on this forum is quality....i would be proud to call any one of you my friend....and with true friends, you have to have each other's back.
My brother-in-law is in the union and has two kids. He rarley does anything for himself because he's working in these crappy times to just try and provide. I have seen how things can go south quickly (myself included), hopefully, you can take the money you received so far and maybe the extra you get and can at least for a little while, forget about the money and just be happy and enjoy life!
Take care man! and post of pics of you and your beauty! Nothing like have something you can see everyday to let you know good people are still out there in the world!

Another member of Gixxer.com checking in here! I can't even believe the community that you guys have here. It's simply amazing! It sounds as if the OP has raised all the money he needs, so I think it's time to contribute to the guys and girls who helped a fellow biker keep his ride. I'm currently working on a GSXR tech site, a place to post up PDF files of tech manuals, picture How-To's, mostly larger things that need to be on a forum, but just don't fit. It'll be a place to host all of the larger files you can't attach on a forum. I'd like to contribute to this forum as well and extend the offer to do something similiar if you all have a need for it. I work as a software engineer / web developer and have my own company. (I'm not posting the link as I don't want this coming off as a marketing ploy.) Anything that you guys would like to see that would HELP the forum, not compete with it, let me know. It's time the community got something back for all the good work.
To the OP. You are lucky to have so many friends on here who are willing to help out like they did. Make everyone proud and ride that bike with PRIDE! Hope things are getting better for you, and I certainly hope this has a long term effect on helping you keep the bike. I'd rather lose the cage than lose the bike!

strip it down into pieces and see if they can take it then!!! LOL. A buddy of mine just did that and it saved him from losing his bike. Sad news and that's a real shame.

Just a quick note here...I passed this story along to several news stations in the Pittsburgh area, and just got this reply.
"That's a nice story. Thanks for passing it along!
KDKA TV News Desk"
Don't know if that really means anything, but if it makes the news I'll pass it along.
