I think your actually seeing the front tire, not the rear tire deflecting.

 

By the way, that's a Suzuki SV right?. 1000cc or 650cc?. I ask because some riders in my club who own them reckon the 650's go like stink & stick like the proverbial to a blanket & say their one of the most underrated bikes around (by people that don't own one), Although a good aftermarket pipe is a necessity.
