As the wise old owl here.....I'm going to play financial advisor for a bit. If your getting that much money back...all your doing is giving the F*****G IRS an interest free loan. Your money isnt working for you....I suggest a look at your withholdings and see if you can do better. You would be amazed how much more money you can make by at least parking that money in a CD or SOMETHING. Stop giving your money to the crooks in washington d.c....so that they can "give it back" to you. What a load of S**T

Now that I've ended up my anti-tax rant...go get some cool parts and post pics...we all lovethe mods!
+1 ... the best thing you can do is break even or pay a little bit... getting money back is a BAD THING!

I just claim 0 so they take the most out and I see if I can live off of that. Since you dont know what you'll owe/get back I just do 0. I dont want to do 2 or 3 and then have to owe back thousands all at once.

+1 on the "don't give the gov't an interest-free loan."
I did my wife's taxes last night, and she's getting back $1479. I scolded her because she hasn't changed her marital status to "M" on her W-4.
I'm still waiting on my W-2 and my mortgage interest forms, so I haven't done mine yet. I'll probably end up getting a few dollars back because we file married-separately. All monies will be going toward my RX8 turbo project!!

So you got mad at your wife for not checking the Married box or because she's getting money back?
