So who has done their taxes yet?

I just did mine tonight and getting back 1000 bucks!!! ok, $994.xx but lets just call it a grand =]

Im stoked! hope everybody makes out pretty well.

My only problem is I dont know if I should buy stuff for my bike, or use it to help pay off the bike. lol.

 

Pay the bike off if you are able and then you can spend any extra money each month on a mod or save up for a big one.

Just got my W-2 today from my current job.... still waiting for my W-2 from the previous job down in Florida. I hope I get something back.... I think I got all of $47 back last year[&:]

 

I'm still waiting on some tax info. Hopefully all the bonds I've been cashing to pay for school and such don't come back to seriously destroy my refund. I'll send mine the moment I get all my information.

 

Waiting on a 1099-DIV.
Did a quickestimate, should be seeing bout 6Kcoming back.
+ the tax rebate from the gov. this will be a decent year.


So.. Who does their own and who takesit in to preparer?
I go to HR Block.
I know... I know... Why pay someone else to do something you can do yourself.
But it will be less likley something will be F'd up.

Its not like your really getting paided. You make that money in the first place but the government took it away. Now your just getting it back. Hell they don't even pay intrests for holding onto your money. Screw income tax.
