Syncing Windows XP computer clock
OK, So, the clock on my computer is always going fast and windows XP syncs once a week or two.
It's not unusual for my clock to get 3 minutes fast every day.
Well, most people know how to manually sync it:
Well, using this trick, you can adjust the interval that windows syncs the time. I have mine set to sync every couple of hours. Here's how:[*] Start the Registry Editor (Start Menu: Run: Type 'Regedit': Hit OK)
[*] Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ W32Time \ TimeProviders \ NtpClient \[*] Double-click the SpecialPollInterval value, and change the Base of the Value data to Decimal[*] Now change the Value data to the time interval you desire, noting that the time is given in seconds (so for 1 day the value would be 86400, while the default (7 days) is 604800[*] Close the registry editor[*]Booya!
