I've got a good one...
How come it hasn't been made socially acceptable for men to just be able to acknowledge that they recognize another man without having to remember their name?
I see a million people a day... the fact that I even know that I have had a conversation with you should be good enough to call us friends.

awww... KB beat me to the commercial thing. I came into this thread too late (and basically, the entire reason they do it is to get your attention)
Why is it that when Im trying to remember something important, I cant, but at f**king 3:00 AM the next morning, Ill wake up and remember it?
Why is it I can never remember anyones name the first time I meet him/her? I have to know someone for like 24 hours before I can freakin remember their name lol
Why do I still watch Spongebob Squarepants occasionally at the age of 19?

Dear Sleepless in Pennsylvania;
While the answer to this query is somewhat complicated, I will give you the condensed soup version:
Our brains work somewhat like a computer in that during the day we acquire information, but at night we sort that information which is why during this time when the other normal brain function processes are relatively inactive, the retrieval information process is much easier. This is also the same reason many have some of their most creative ideas at night and why so many studies show that you do much better on tests after a good nights sleep.

Friendship is MUCH deeper than that, it isn't a casual thing.
