Is it true that the sky is black and only appears blue because of a reflection of sunlight off the water??

Voodoo, tell me, what color is the sky in your world?
Voodoo, tell me, what color is the sky in your world?
the blue color of the sky is due to an effect called Rayleigh scattering ..as light moves through the atmosphere, most of the longer wavelengths pass straight through ..little of the red, orange and yellow light is affected by the air ... the shorter wavelength light is absorbed by the gas molecules ..the absorbed blue light is then radiated in different directions ... it gets scattered all around the sky hence the sky looks blue.

The speed of light is a constant C and an absolute physical boundary for motion ... so if you are travelling at say half the speed of light and turn on your lights you wont make light travel at one and half times the speed of light ..it will still be the speed of light ..anyway at the speed of light all mass becomes infinite so you wouldnt have the power to operate an infinitely big light switch anyway ..lol

oops, okay, here's my question. Why are people who die, shown in a viewing, in the flesh, dead, as a corpse, serving as the last memory anyone will have of them? WTF?

I've got a good one...
How come it hasn't been made socially acceptable for men to just be able to acknowledge that they recognize another man without having to remember their name?
I see a million people a day... the fact that I even know that I have had a conversation with you should be good enough to call us friends.

No worries m8 .. king of all useless knowledge is here to answer your queries:
Commercials are not actually louder than the show you are watching, that would violate FCC regulations but they do get around it with a technicality. Instead of increasing volume they increase levels. It's like adjusting all the settings on your Equalizer higher; you're not actually increasing the volume but it sounds louder because you're increasing all the frequency levels. I made a little of that up but the gist of is true.
