How did you get stung in the thigh? Were you wearing shorts?! [sm=nono.gif]Maybe you should ad some calamine lotion to your toolkit...

No, I wasn't wearing shorts (I'd let you cyber punch me in the face if I did). The only thing I can think of is it hit my leg, got stuck, and stung me through my pants (I don't have riding pants yet so they are not reinforced).

never been stung. ever. I think I would be pissed off if I got stung while riding. I would go find a hive and chuck rocks at it.

Everytime Im in the twisties Im in full leathers.

Friday I was riding up the mountain and a ****ing buttefly hit my neck, right where the leathers stop. It hurt him more than me but at 70+ that **** stung.

Little random aside, tobacco wetted down to form a paste put on a sting will help relieve most of the pain and will help draw the toxins out of the wound. Just don't use skoal as it has fiberglass in it and will make it feel worse, a cigarette works awesome(about the only thing they are good for imo).
I'm allergic to bees/wasps(and dang near everything else)and carry the pen and a 1 cigarette, the cig gets used first and most of the time keeps me from having a reaction. When I need another just ask a neighbor, lol.
