Very nice cars you had right there. Buddy had a 95 Cobra with a prochrager and bolt on's. It should of ran high 11's with slicks or low 12's. Very fun car. Agreed its not that fun though if your not making that much power. Those TA's are a pain in the butt to fix. I hated touching them.

It's all good. No harsh feelings bro. Ya those LX hatch backs are pretty cool.

I basically agree with everything you've said. Except the GT's from 99 to 2010 are also not that impressive. The 03-04 Cobra's are the rule bc they are very powerful. The next newest Stang with impressive power is the new 5.0. I've never had a problem with any other Stang with them even being modded and I was basically stock at the time!

I will agree just about any one trying to outrun a bike or try to keep up with one in a muscle/sports car is a little silly!

i know, i figure you gotta have around 800 horse to get there. My buddy is about to get his engine back for his cavalier that is a little under 1000 horsepower. Of course he has a turbo the size of a pizza... i cant wait though.

You got it. Also most people forget that 600's don't have that strong of mid range so if your doing a roll from 40mph and up a easily 550whp 240sx for example will out pull it. From a stop the bike should take it. When we use to do street racing there is a bunch of formula's we had to play with. For example a buddy's srt-4 would run 13.4 while another buddys 04 gto would run 13.8. On the street the gto out pulled the srt-4 all the time. It's all due to climate and such.

Jesus, I hope his cavalier looks something like this:

I can't imagine someone trying to send that much power through the front wheels.

Stock GT's are slow as ****, even the old fox bodys...but how many fox bodys do you see actually stock now? When I bought my 03 GT I was surprised how slow it was...and still is. Its fun to drive and sounds great but I dont race it because I know its slow...even though everyone that hears it thinks it is fast and is modded to hell...I just let them think that and drive away slowly lol. What really makes me laugh is all these young punks that drive a stang, ta, or camaro think they can beat a 600 with their stock car....and then think a liter bike will give them a good run.
