im on someone elses unsecured linksys router right now, lol. in fact, come to think of it, almost every post i have ever made at cbrforum has been when i was sitting in the company van, infront of the house whose telephonei was working on,on someones unsecured wifi that didn't have a wep key enabled. the absolute best places are apartment buildings, and brand new neighborhoods with the big dsl accessmultiplexer in the front. youd never have to subscribe to your own internet service.

who doesnt want free stuff? i have wireless and it is secured. i used to use my neighbors, i asked he said it was ok, then i just decided to get my own so i would have a better signal. [sm=pcwhack.gif][sm=pcwhack.gif][sm=pcwhack.gif]

This a no brainer. If you're not smart enough to use wi-fi and secure it, then don't use it at all; grab a CAT5 cable instead...

What's the range on a WiFi router? It shouldn't be THAT hard to figure out who the source is.
