Ok...not quite the 80's but it's music...
A little freaky...but Tiny Tim was a pretty sizable name back in the 60's and had a resurgence of interest due to Howard Stern.
Here he is on "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In" singing Tip Toe through the tulips to Dick Martin (whose facial reaction really adds the effect of the music):

BUT for you young whipper snappers out there...you might be more familiar with his song from Spongebob Squarepants:

At one point he sang both parts of "I've got you babe." Truly freaky, but still entertaining in it's own right. He was more of a traditional vaudeville type perform if anything.

Oh holly hell the 80's! I was born in 76, and had two older sisters, Dozens of empty cans of aquanet all over the place, hair to no end, arg! I remember the day MTV came out, I missed the A-Team because they had to watchMTV all the time. I remember back when MTV used to play music. I would watch it when I woke up, and wait for the school bus to round the corner to catch it. Videos mostly of The Cars, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel and so on. Was big into the hair bands and the monster ballads of the time. I remember pegging my stone washed jeans, high-top reboks, wearing a silk shirt with the thin tie ohhhh did I just confess to that!!!!!! My wife is British, from Shrewsbury/Shropshire, she got a kick out of watching all the vids Jules, made her laugh and remember a little bit of days past. All of her family is still there, crazy when we hear of all the things over there, so different.
god the 80s what memories was born in 71 so i partied my *** off in the 80s the music, the cars, my first bike in 88(a 84 interceptor) and last but not least the hot chicks with hair as tall as them. wow i dont wanna grow up!!!!!!!!
Oh geez...forgot:
Planes, Trains & Automobiles
[waking up after sharing the same bed on the motel[/i]]
Neal: "Del... why did you kiss my ear?"
Del: "Why are you holding my hand?"
Neal: [frowns]"Where's your other hand?"
Del: "Between two pillows..."
Neal: "THOSE AREN'T PILLOWS!"
