Jeeeeez....Rick Roll....GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. But not as gay as this. Nothing is as gay as this...this is gayer than Freddie Mercury as the cabin boy on a greek frieghter.

That song, which as you know came from the Plastic Bertrand song 'Ca Plane poir Moi' which is loosly translated to mean ' this life's for me'for you Francophiles, I believe the singer is from Beligian, hence the strange accent and odd sentance structure. This was the original, I first heard it in a club in Mount Vernon, NY when I had a fake ID to go out drinking.

I find it funny that the french version isn't a gay song, it is actually about having sex with a womannear a sink (my french is weak, so don't hold me to that). So to recap, the english version is gay, not the french version...kinda the opposite of real life.Although I am starting to rethink that now that Jules told us about the 18 month stat.
It is amazing what those people on the other side of the atlantic listen too, isn't it?

Someone should do a rickroll with the "Fat Boys" from the 80's ..
The 80's when rap was still tolerable, a hybrid of music styles, and didn't take themselves too seriously:
She's Crafty

I love this one .. they played it on the closing scene of "Ashes to Ashes" (sequel to "Life on Mars") ...
love the show, love the 80's...love dancing in the city :-)

Fun post. I was in the thick of things in the 80's. Hitting the party scene back then involved dressing up instead of today's casual looks. I feel it has lost something in that. 80's also brought about my first brand new bike...Yamaha Seca 750...a dog compared to today's hi tech bikes. We are really in the best of times for performance in cars and bikes. The only good thing about the 80's now when I think about it is I was 20 years younger.
The song and the movie.
