Anyone ever hear 'don't touch me there' by the tubes. I couldn't find it out there, but it is a classic.

There are way too many to list that made the 80's what they where but I grew up in a town that was known for its music and two of the ones that made it big that I used to watch routinely at a local small club (the 40 watt club) in Athens, GA where B-52's and R.E.M. where they played all their songs from "Murmur" ... other lessor know great bands played there but can't remember the 80's without those 2 ...

Their first big hit: REM - Radio Free Europe (1st appearance on Letterman)
The Video (parts filmed in Athens, GA)
R.E.M. Driver 8
R.E.M. 2007 Hall of Fame Induction - Gardening At Night

oh, don't forget M.J. singing back up .. haha ... Rockwell - Somebody's Watching Me

The good thing about being laid up in bed is I can browse the internet in peace ...no hiding my browser behind other windows like at work ...I've just found this again, I loved this one, always liked the cartoon v reality part, clever for the time I guess... always wanted to be the girl in it, I must have been about nine at the time :-)

It's just such a happy up beat kinda of song ...

I was huge A-ha fan back in the day. I had every one of their albums. I still get flack over that, but I can take it. This vid was groundbreaking. All of the new videos are BORING in comparison with anything from the 80's.
