They both look good and will most likely do a good job at what you throw at it. The K2 looked like it had a steeper side cut and would not be as fun in the pipe. Is there a shop where you can hole them up against each other?

 

Hey timbuctwo, the board doesn't make a difference if your regular or goofy, you just need to spin the bindings around so their facing the other way. Most rental boards have a way to adjust the bindings quickly, if not it can be fixed with a philips head screwdriver in about 5 minutes for both feet.
You see more Burton stuff because they are the original company that started it all, therefor in many eyes the best. I'm rocking a Burton custom board from 2 seasons ago with flow bindings. I love my flows and would never go back to the old two strap style.
I'm not a park guy, getting too old and blew out my shoulder last year as it is, was late in the year but put a big damper on the motorcycle season. I normally hit the spots in southern PA but I've been to Vermont and I'm trying to get up there again this year. Next year I'm heading west, I want to hit the real deal.

Yep! My first time on the board was a bad one. I ski and put risers under my bindings so that I don't boot-out. Summer...bike...lay it down/winter...skis...lay them down. They gave me a board to narrow and my toes hung off. Every time I tried to carve, I got a face full. When going straight like a madman, she would spin on me.
