Default Should I feel bad?

Is it wrong of me to pass cruisers or guys on harleys when I'm out hitting the twisties or even just a decently curvy road? I always feel bad when I pass them even though they're usually doing 60 or so in a 55. I kinda feel like a dick but I can't stand it when they come to a slight curve and I see brake lights and I gotta slow down to 50 and just roll through the corner. I'd like to slap a sign on my back that says "No hard feelings" just so they know I'm not trying to be some dumb *** kid and show off I'm just trying to enjoy the bike.

Nope, not wrong at all. As long as you give the rider in front of you appropriate time to move over & wave you around. If they don't acknowledge you or wave you around after that appropriate time, go for it.

One caveat - if they are wearing member patches, yes you know the ones, tread carefully.

so long as you're not cutting them off or putting them in a dangerous situation - get by em and have some fun.

No - you should slow down and wait for everyone thats in front of you that is moving slower than you would like to go when you're out riding your Sportsbike on twisty roads.

And you should feel terrible for every car / harley you've ever passed. Even if its not on a double yellow.

+1 to conrice, if you do it smoothly and safely to them (i.e. start early for the pass, change lanes completely when making the pass and don't cut them off afterwards). Bikers are essentially no different from every other piloted vehicle on the road. Just remember that you represent all of us other sporters, and act accordingly.

Alright I'm glad to hear that. I always wait for an actual passing lane unless they wave me by which has happened both from a cager and an older guy on a scooter. I've only ever passed anyone on a double yellow once and they were doing 35 in a 55 so I think that makes it almost legal on the rural road I was on haha.
