....or... you could find a local body work guy. he may be able to fix and paint those fairings for around $300 or so, then buy a decal kit of ebay for the rest... just a thought

yeah. definitely not worth saving a couple hundred. Ive seen pictures from people who bought sets from china. they look good from a distance till you see the fit up close. although, i was considering getting the repsol colors (love that) , but my tank is yellow and im not painting it. ordering upper cowl and alternator gasket, and winscreen for about$350 today. Ill be good 2 go. Rubbed out some of the scratches last night. Came out pretty good. I can always replace the mid and lower fairing later if i decide. the middle one isnt that bad though. thanks again for all the replies. wrist is even better today. im trying not to use it at all. i think it will be fine in a week but hard to tell. its worst when bending bacwards. weather here is sunny and 70's as far as they can tell into next week

ive used the china fairings on my 954, and they do look great - even up close. but they're not near as good as OEM for other reasons. a)the backside isn't painted so the nose fairing, you'll see the blotchy paint behind the fairings. b) they are much stiffer than oem. so they don't flex - and they're prone to cracking, unless you have the perfect torque on the bolts. c) you can't just run a china side fairing and oem on the rest of the bike. the decals wouldn't look right.

so either wait it on ebay for perfect OEM ones to come up or find a local guy and a decal kit on ebay.
