RE: shocks
Either way I just want to raise the ars end up a little. This is my first road bike and I am aware of the mechanics of things my kids race motorcross but not sure what shock would work. I could crank it down a little but not sure if that would mess with the integrity of the suspension.

RE: shocks
Cranking your spring down is just gonna stiffin your shock and eliminate some sag. You wanna take some measurements of the shock ie. length and mounting flanges, then look for one thats a little longer. I wouldnt go more than 1-2", and make sure you use a shock made for roadbikes. Or if your feeling crafty you could fabricate a bracket to raise it. I think you willjust dive a little harder into the corners, not sure tho.
