Some of you guys would be surprised at how some scooter riders badmouth sportbike riders for being "fair weather" riders.

Like thigh exercises? Maybe a little bit of the flamingo balance, plyometric squat, single leg circle, lunges or some extensions?

True, I always find myself wanting to do it out of instinct when I'm in the car, and then restrain myself.

... and to top out at 35 mph on a 50mph main road. There are tons of scooter riders around here and I can't stand when traffic gets backed up behind one. I give them a wave alright, but I only use one finger.

There's a scooter night at the Dairy Queen.

And about the wave... last year I was so excited to have a bike I waved at EVERYONE. Including scooters. Now that I ride a Ninja I'm too cool for all that.

But really now I just wave back when I'm waved to. I usually give the nod, though.

When people do that I usually just assume they aren't capable enough riders to take their hands off the bars.

I usually already have one hand off, leaning on the tank, cuz that's how I roll.

I'm just too lazy to change position for some dude on a Harley who's only going to give me a dirty look cuz I'm a girl riding a sportbike.

Or maybe I'm just a sucky rider.

I agree with you DammitMike, although I've never actually flipped off a scooter rider before

We all know why you are leaning on the tank. To show cleavage to people in the oncoming lanes. I have outted you.
