Neither do I. Although I've never had one try to initiate the wave to me either.

I do toss it out for all cruiser types and every other sort of bike as well.

I'd say I get the wave back my 60% of the time from cruisers.

 

I get about the same as well. I have had scooter guys give me a frantic wave, much like the squid wave.

Lol I rarely see any female riders in general, scooter or streetbike.

 

Damn I like that last one - looks like she has thighs that could take the terrible things I would plan on doing to her.

I'd agree cynical. Not the norm around here for sure.

 

Yeah they're not too plentiful yet around here, but I have had a few try to wave to me. One of them caught me off guard and I actually waved to them. All my buddies I was riding with at the time all got a kick out of it. I don't wave to them anymore. I feel like a lot of the cruisers guys just don't wave because they don't like sportbikes. Oh well. I wave at any bike.

 

Likely, it was just weird. I thought it was somewhere along the lines of doing the salute to a rider when you're in a car.

 

I haven't gotten waved to yet by them, but I would nod back. Guys usually wave or nod at me first. I don't see why everyone is being negative. So what if its a scooter. They bought it to ride and have fun on and probably to save gas. two wheels is two wheels. Imo

I dont wave at them anymore. The ones around here seem to not want to take their hands off the handlebars. Which is Cool. safety i understand haha.
I usually wave to Sport Bikes only. The Harley guys around here are to "bad @##" for us on sportbikes hahaha. i dunno what it is.. ive tried waving.. but ive never even gotten the slightest nod from them. so ive given up! haha
