what color would look good on the good ole f3?? Silver, tan, or maroon??

Ah-ha! I say Maroon! (silver wouldn't be too bad though)

I think maroon would just stand out a little more. Hmm... but then again it may be too dark. It's hard to say without seeing the bike in person.

 

well..i was thinking silver too...if anything.
i dont know if rim stripes would look out of place, ive only seen them on the newer bikes

 

I have always liked the rim strips...just makes the wheels stand out a little more...plus the chics love them

well..im orderinga set of silver and a set of maroon..just for kicks if i dont like the silver i will put the maroon on.

 

I don't know where you stand on your decisions but I thought I'd add my 2 cents. I'm all for the rim-stripes and personally I would go with the red. I agree with Blue Fox, the red accents the "Racing" logo on the side fairing and the "RR" on the tail perfectly. Plus it adds some color to the bike. Either way the bike looks amazing as is and will only look better with whatever color you go with.

 

I don't care for rim tape. I would paint them white or maybe silver. But hey, it's your bike, do what you want with it. If you like it, go for it.

 

I'm thinking that if you do paint the wheels white, you could accent them with a red stripe around the bubbled edge. I think this looks best. But you would HAVE to color match the wheels to the pearled paint on the bike, or it'll look awkward (and for future photoshop requests......CLEAN YOUR FREAKING WHEELS! ) Sorry for the s**t worth of a photochop, but you get the idea..............
