I would stick with the silver. Hamster has more black on his bike and the red works good with it. You have a lot more silver on yours and I think the silver rim stripes would look nice. Yes as you can tell I vote for the stripes.

I say go for it!

I wanna do it to mine, I got the stripping, but no stands =[ so its next to impossible to put on

-Dennis (had to test out the new smiley I found)
They are a lot easier to put on then you think..you dont need stands just sit on the floor and roll the bike... Mine went on perfect in about 15 min.

I later removed them because they didnt last too long.
Didnt last long? elaborate? they came off? or just looked nappy after a while?
I dont know exactly why, maybe because I hose wash my bike alot but the edges rolled up a little and kinda shrunk ( dont know if you know what i mean)
They just looked ****ty after 3 months or so.... Im also very ****

BUT... if you already have them might as well slap them on.. its only a sticker..bust out your wally speacial dryer and take them off if you dont like it..

I had rim tape on my Marchesini's...but took it off. But i see it onBlue Fox's bike and I like it. It really depends on the look your going for...some bikes it works, some bikes it doesnt. I think it would look good on yours zac..just take your time with it!

It also depends on HOW you apply the tape. If you order that junk stuff off of tapeworks..........you are going to get a fat stripe around the rim. You can simply just go down to checker, get 1/4" high-quality pin-striping in any color of your choosing, and apply it to the outer edge of the wheel (the bubbled edge. You get a very consistent, high quality look when you do it this way.

Maybe that's why Red like's the striping on mine? I did the same method to Hamster's bike as well.

And just so everyone knows.............those are old pics of Hamster's bike. He has the silver sides from my 07, we swapped mid-fairings within the first hour of me getting the bike off the truck.

Thin silver stripes, not white. The white graphics on the swingarm could be red. None of this really matters since it is such a great looking bike to start with anyway.

You could powder coat the rims white and do a black rim stripe.
