Default Right bike for tall rider?

Hey everyone,

I'm debating to sell my 600rr and upgrade to something a little bigger. Engine size doesn't really matter I just need something a little bigger. I'm 6'2" and it's getting uncomfortable riding the 600. Any suggestions on bikes that may be a better fit? Are liter bikes bigger in size? I've only ever rode my 600rr so I have no experience with other bikes of any other cc size.

Thanks

Sports bikes tend to be pretty much the same as far as ergonomics, the bikes can be physically bigger, but your going to find the seating/bars pretty much the same. What you really have to do is look for a bike with a better set up for your height or altering the set up on your RR. Sports tourers are set up with higher bars & pegs are usually not set as far back. Naked bikes usually have the traditional bars that you can adjust backward & forward, while the crossover bikes have higher bars again. While cruisers make you a wind sock. Some of the Euro bikes like the Ducati Monsters have a more upright seating, but are still pretty bloody good doing the fun stuff.
In the end its really suck & see, plop your bum on a lot of bikes, work out what you like to do when you ride, performance & price & go from there.

a standard will be more comfortable.

its because of the clip-ons, hard seat, and higher rear sets. you can change those on a sportbike (higher clip-ons, softer seat, and adjustable rearsets) - but it still might be slightly uncomfortable on LONG rides.

CityBikeRacing on this forum is 6'4" and I have seen him ride his F4i for 8 hrs straight. Higher bars and lower pegs than the RR.

Start with some adjustable rearsets. A "bigger" bike would be the last resort cause it might not change anything... or make it worse.

My f4i was pretty comfortable. But I moved up to a bigger bike, BMW s1000rr. The s1k has a very aggressive riding position, definitely less comfortable than the f4i. And i stand 5' 11". Got used to the f4i's relaxed posture.

The vfr is still sporty but still has a relaxed seating position.

I'm 6'7" and ride a 2k1 F4i. It's definitely one of the more comfortable sportbikes that I have rode so far. like everyone has pretty well stated already, it has slightly lower pegs and slightly taller clip-ons.
