Yea I suppose, thats not nearly as much as a recall would have cost.

Although I meant with the new models, making them so they don't have to be repaired.

Yea, just like a PS3. However I don't think I have ever seen a PS3 being shipped back to SONY for repair.

 

Read that a bunch of people have problem with the blueray lens on their PS3. Dont know if their is an official number posted.

 

^ It's happened.. one of my friends had to do it with his PS3 even. Plus I've heard of others. Happens with everything that's mass produced.

 

They sent me a brand new one.

 

you should see the thousands of Iphones i have seen come into our store. they just swap them out and send the broken ones back for parts

 

With apple, is it the original owner only, or is it the life of the phone???

 

with apple its who ever has the phone, computer, ipod. anything goes as long as it is under warranty. they just run the serial # and if its covered they swap it. there is no fixing iphones. they just give you a new one and off yours goes to become parts
