But on the flip side...I get what you are saying, it does look off when a guy on a harley is wearing a full faced helmet.

But.........Ide rather be alive.
X1,000,000,000 but thats why I have a CBR. I dont have to worry about that......full face 99% of the time and DOT Chrome German Style for stuntin...again only cuz the neoprene sets it off and gets tons of looks....

when push comes to shove its just a matter of personal opinion and background..... And while we may disagree on a few things we agree on more....

So no need to bicker off the things we disagree on ha

Haha, I knew this would turn into a full-face discussion.

We know that's the best option, the girlfriend, her mother, and I all wear full face helmets, regardless of the bike we're on. Our hope is that him wearing something is better than nothing, even if it's not as good as it could be. He's been in 2 serious crashes in his life, so he knows the danger, but he makes his own choice as to what he's willing to do.

Thanks for the options/direction.

Since the full head isnt protected I doubt you will find a snell. Since he is more woried about looking like a bike tard then saftey (hey it happens) you want to find a DOT with the slimest profile while on the head. most DOTs sit on top of your head and just look off....meaning the first time he see's it in the miror is the last time he will wear it. some like "Skid Lid" advertise a slimer or smaller design that is still DOT compliant. increasing the chance that he will wear it more.....Food for thought.

I wear a full face for the simple fact of I don't wanna get hit by a bug and have it's guts all over my face....that and my face is sooo pretty, I'd like to keep it that way.
