right now i have 8 part time associates working for me. 3 of which can't work sundays , 2 who only work 1 day a week, 2 other who need certian days off during the week for school (m/w and t,th) another who cant come in untill 2pm (and right now we close @ 5pm) and my only other full time associate is working @ 2 different stores during teh same week to help them out.

and all these people complain that they dont get enough hours. part time for me means 29 hrs one week and the next week i can work you up to 36 hours. so thats 65 hoursbi weeklyjust being part time. not to mention extra shifts i can occasionally give them.

i just seriously dont understand how hard it is to show up to work and do your job correctly. all these people complain about hours but always volunteer to go home early ! wtf [:@]

so yes VP i share your frustration but you have wayyy more to offer your part timers then i can so i dont understand the problem why yours wont stay focused.

 

Exactly man! That's exactly where I'm coming from Havoc... this one person for example can only work 3 days a week 8:30 to 12:30 and misses two shifts within a week...then gets pissy with me when I call them out on it and quits on the spot (this is what sparked my rant)...

I only get really pissed about something when you don't do something consistently or don't do something that I drectly told you to do.

I mean how the hell can somebody get "sick" 3 times in the same month... YOU NEED TO BE IN A HOSPITAL IF YOU'RE SICK 3 TIMES IN A MONTH...
