Rant time
So the other day I come back out to my bike after work and see that it's been pushed back about 10 feet or so. I had it parked on the side of the road with the handlebars locked. I walked around and didn't really see any damage so I figured some kids screwed with it or one of the carpenters at the house I was at tried moving it. Well today while washing it I finally saw that the nose is crumpled in and the plastic that comes down between the headlights is sticking up because the screw has been sheered off that holds it. Effin great must be the guy that I parked behind backed into the bike and had no idea and just pushed it. I had parked probably 8 or 9 feet behind him and there was no one in front of him so I don't understand why he backed up to begin with.
The plastics weren't perfect by any means but I hadn't planned on changing them for a little while. Now the plastic tabs on the right side are broken as well as on the left and everything is pushed back a little. Worst part is I don't know who the guy was who did it. I'm going to tell my boss about it on Monday. I work for multi-billionaires and the estate manager, who used to ride a BMW touring bike, really likes me so maybe he'll feel bad and cut me a check. God knows 600 bucks isn't going to break these peoples bank since they own their own on their own island in the caymans.
So anyone have any suggestions on where to get fairings? I'm going to stick with the stock white and red color and decals. My brother was looking on Ebay for me but I don't trust anything from Hong Kong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
