I did that but I have a better excuse...my f4 just has a dummy light...you with your damn superior level gauge has no excuse lol. I ra out on a busy road and there was a gas station on the left but I didn't have enough to jump 2 lanes over into the turning lane then cross 2 more lanes with non stop traffic, that and I didn't wanto risk dropping the bike by pushing it over those stupid drainage steps that separate the road from the driveway into a gas station or restuarant so I took the nearest right turn into a papa johns parking lot. I went down to a crosswalk and crossed to the gas station, got a large cup of ice water, drank it and dumped the ice out. I then went to the pump and filled the cup with gas...it was about 90 cents or so, took it over to my bike and filled it up and drove off. Gotta love bikes.

I'd rather run out of gas than oil.

haha i remember the one time my bike ran outta gas. i was coming home from work (o'charley's) in centerville. i was going down watson towards 41 to my friends house and since my gauges don't have a gas light or fuel gauge i have to use the ole "shake the bike method" and i knew i needed gas, but i said screw it i can make it even though i was coming up to an enmark gas station on my right. needless to say i was going down 41 and next thing i know my speedometer just goes down from 60 and i said damn. call my friend and he brings me gas. fun night though.
