It might be a trick question in that New Zealand might be a day behind, but you can't physically ONLY be on an airplance for 1.5 hours.

you'd use up the first hour and fifteen sitting on the tarmac waiting to takeoff anyway.

I take it you've got your passport and visa arrangements sorted out in advance! There won't be much time to make temporary arrangements in-flight.

Alternatively put some headphones on and listen to Steely Dan's idea of New York to Paris in under an hour, then just pretend they said NewZealand. It's the same thing really.... as long as you're wearing spandex!
Perhaps your post has got in here from the future and we should be saying, " an hour and a half? That's so last century"
