Pretty cool, i assume you can change / modify the word "STOP" to be like "HEY JERKFACE DON'T HIT ME" ha, i bet with the creative people on this forum we could come up with a TON of things to say...

I think I'll work on using the software so I can figure out how to do different things. I think some people might be more interested if it served as a decelerator lamp instead of scrolling the word "stop." I'm guessing there's an ultimate limitation on how long a single message can be.

 

do you have a tut. on how you did it? maybe a good marketing thing for you as well

 

I could probably make one. If there was sufficient interest I could probably do some programming for people on the board if they were interested in getting something similar as well.

 

I think when you hit the brakes, the brake light should flash a little longer than .5 seconds to make it more visable (safety reasons). Then make it say stop after a few seconds.
